What are dental implants?
An incidental observation during a research project in the 1960’s eventually led to the development of the dental implant. Made from titanium, a dental implant is an artificial metal root that acts as a support for a variety of different types of dental restoration. Dental implants can be used for replacing single crowns, multiple teeth, full mouth restorations and traditional dentures.
